   Busch Gardens has added a new roller coaster to their collection.  Cheetah Hunt isn’t like the other roller coasters, it uses magnetic energy instead of gravity energy.  The new ride opened May 27^th 2011, adding more fun to the Tampa Bay area.

   Busch Gardens new coaster is the newest one they’ve had in six years.  Cheetah Hunt is a smooth 3½ minute ride with 16 seats per train, averaging to about 1,370 guests per hour.    The ride includes three launches, a 130 foot drop, and a heartline roll, an inversion where the rider does a 360-degree roll.  During the ride there is also a point where you feel weightless.

   As Busch Gardens says, from “Zero to Cheetah”.  The coaster starts by shooting the riders out of the entrance, the ride goes from 0 to 60 mph, which is the speed that a cheetah goes.  While waiting for the ride there are facts about cheetahs and the coaster posted in the line.  There is also a giant cheetah-shaped rock placed in the middle of the ride which makes waiting a little less dull because there’s something to look at and talk about with others around.

   Cheetah Hunt is only one of the seven roller coasters found at Busch Gardens, each coaster is different so everyone can find one that they like.  Sheikra is exciting with its floorless design and 90 degree drop, Montu has the riders feet dangling and swaging as it flips and drops, and the other coasters are different as well.

   Busch Gardens doesn’t only have roller coasters, it has water rides along with water park areas, shows, children’s Elmo’s World, bumper cars, and different places to eat.  There are also animal exhibits so that people can see the wild animals up close and in person. If someone is really into animals then they can meet the zoo keepers to learn new things.

   The season pass that Busch Gardens offers makes going there more affordable and fun.  Whether it’s going with the family or a group of friends, everyone will have a good time. The park is full of fun meant for everyone.
